2018 Imperial Macchiato Stout

Now on tap! Brewed with Cameron’s coffee, this stout is the perfect beer to sip on while you hide out from the visiting relatives.

—  Current Tap List  —

Updated Tuesday, December 11th

—  Imperial Macchiato Stout —

9.6% ABV * 45 IBU

A rich and full bodied imperial stout conditioned on bold espresso roast coffee beans. This beer is brewed with generous amounts of flaked oats, flaked barley and roasted malts to give a creamy mouthfeel layered with strong flavors of dark chocolate and coffee. We used a dark roast coffee from Cameron's Coffee here in Shakopee to amp up these flavors and also added a small amount of lactose to the brew to give a "spot" or "macchia" of milk sweetness.

—  Traitor IPA —

7% ABV, 70 IBU
Aromatic, notes of citrus, mango. Hoppy, medium bodied. Brewed using Centennial, Citra, Cascade, Galaxy hops.

—  Hop Hill Pale Ale  —

5.2% ABV, 45 IBU

Notes of citrus, grapefruit. Light body with a satisfying hoppiness. It’s your go-to pint when you’re looking for the perfect Pale Ale.

—  Honey Badger IPA  —
6.3% ABV, 60 IBU

Honey Badger is made with German malts typically used for German amber lagers as well as locally sourced honey for a robust IPA with a touch of floral sweetness that is perfect for the cooling weather. It is also packed with Cascade, Citra and Mosaic hops for blasts of citrus, papaya and berry amidst the toasty malt background. It's a little different but Honey Badger don't give a f*@k because it's also delicious.

—  Minne-Ale German Kolsch  —

4.8% ABV, 22 IBU
Want something light and easy drinking? This is your brew! Kolsch-style, ale/lager hybrid. Straw hued, light, crisp, smooth. Take home a growler!

—  Goldy Ale Golden Ale —

4.9% ABV, 18 IBU

A light and fruity golden ale with a touch of malt sweetness. Wakatu and Huell Melon hops bring unique notes of lime zest and honeydew melon. Easy drinking and have a fewable.

—  Winter Whiner Barleywine —

10.2% ABV

As true Minnesotans, our favorite past-time is to whine about the weather. Hot, cold, rain or snow - it’s a pain, right? We made Winter Whiner Barleywine as a tip of the cap to true Minnesotans. We also hope why you enjoy this barleywine that has notes of dark fruit and tastes a heck of a lot lighter than the 10.2% ABV it boasts - that it gives you reprieve from the whining. Quit yer bitchin’, drink this beer instead!

—  Badger Snack Peanut Butter Stout —

6.3% ABV, 13 IBU

A blend of roasted malts, flaked oats, flaked barley and milk sugar make for creamy chocolaty base to this peanut butter powered snack. A treat for badgers and beer drinkers alike.

—  F5 Refresh (Tropical) —

4.3% ABV, 4 IBU
F5 is our rotating kettle sour series that will be refreshed with each iteration. Pilsner and wheat malts, a low ABV and low bitterness make this a refreshing easy drinker. A blend of lactobacillus strains is used to add a refreshing tartness and passionfruit and mango purees add a refreshing kiss of tropical fruit. Oh, also it is refreshing.

—  Oktoberfest Marzen  —

5.5% ABV, 22 IBU
A classic malt-forward Oktoberfest Marzen lager with a clean finish, medium body and perfect for the changing of the seasons. Take home a growler to go!

—  Koala Hug IPA —

7% ABV, 50 IBU
An unfiltered IPA heavily featuring Australian grown Galaxy hops but no Koalas. Dry and tropical flavor with strong pineapple and dank citrus aroma. Drinking this beer will feel like an embrace from a furry marsupial friend who laughs at all your jokes and thinks you look great in that shirt.

—  ZwickelDort Lager Bier  —

5.4% ABV, 30 IBU

This Dortmunder lager is brewed to be a well rounded and easy drinking beer. A decoction mash is utilized to enhance the bready, and slightly honey sweet character of the German malts, our first beer to use this technique. It is then perfectly balanced with the floral and spicy notes of Hallertau Mittelfruh and Mt. Hood hops so that no single element overpowers another. Clean fermenting lager yeast keeps it crisp and allows these flavors to shine together. This beer is also brewed in the spirit of a traditional German Zwickelbier, meaning it is pulled directly from the cellar during maturation without clarification. The freshness and yeast left in suspension add an extra bit of vibrancy to the experience when drank young.

—  Foundation Stout on Nitro  —

6.3% ABV, 45 IBU
Lighter in body than your typical stout, notes of dark chocolate, roast and coffee.  Pouring on nitro for a creamy mouthfeel!
